Cooking Away....

This morning, I made DB a FAT omlette, which consisted of fresh asparagus, fresh chopped mushroom, chopped ham, chopped onions, cheddar cheese, and crumbled feta cheese. I served it with hash browns and corned beef hash. ;)

I also wanted to share with you this AWESOME mushroom and green bean vegetable medley that I made. It was SOOOO good. I surprised even myself. It's an easy and healthy recipe. Just chop fresh green beans and fresh carrots. Put the carrots and green beans in a pot to boil until tender (to your liking).

Chop fresh mushrooms and fresh onion (cut into rings). In a separate pan, sautee the mushrooms and onion in butter (I used Vegan butter). Sautee the mushrooms and onions for about 5 or so minutes. Finally, drain the green beans and carrots, then add them to the mushrooms and onion. Add white pepper, salt, and garlic powder to your liking. Cover with a lid. Continue to sautee them in the pan like that until the vegetables are tender to your liking. I like it when my onions are close to burnt!  Then enjoy!!

What's good about this recipe is that you can add all sorts of vegetables. I never knew vegetables sauteed in butter with white pepper, salt, and garlic powder together would be so TASTY!

Chopped vegetables!
