So I finally got around to organizing our towel closet:

Great Job Mom!!

By now, you probably heard of the mother who put her 2 son's toys on ebay because they damaged her bathtub with those toys.

This article  explains it. 

I refuse to put photos of the children up on my blog, but you can see the ad in the article. The ad includes a photo of her 2 children holding up the toys on sale, with the older child crying and obviously distraught.

Her description reads:

"We are selling 8 Beyblades, 2 of them light up. As you can tell they are not happy about this! They have been using their bathtub as a "battle arena" and Beyblades + Bathtub = Destruction!!! With the metal ones they managed to scrape the enamel off the tub, take a chunk of tub out and break off the soap holder. SO if you 'win' this auction DON'T play with in a bathtub!!! We have received a quote of $500.00 to replace the tub, some tiles, and soap holder + labor of course! They had approximately $125.67 in their piggy banks that will be going to toward the cost. We will use the profit from this auction towards the balance and then it is onto other toys!

My opinion?? FANTASTIC! What a great way to teach your children that for every action comes consequences. These children are old enough to know what's right from wrong. By selling the toys, and also using the money in their piggy banks towards the cost of repairing the bathtub- these children are learning a valuable lesson. They will think twice about doing something like that again.

I'm not surprised that there were numerous comments condemning this mother and calling it harsh, too much. Some suggested a "time out" would suffice. Some even went as far as to accuse the mother of robbing them of their childhood! That is what's wrong with society today. Lots of parents don't discipline their children or teach them any responsibility.

Although I disagree with the mother posting an actual photo of her children up on the world wide web, I admire her for correcting and disciplining her children. The mother did not beat her children and I highly doubt her children will be traumatized by this. I think this was the perfect punishment. Way to go mom!!!

Vegan Food rocks!

I just cannot get enough of Native Foods!! DB drove us over an hour just to go to Native Foods. I LOVE their sweet potato taquitos and their Baja Surf Tacos.

We also spent over $60 at Loving Hut.

We also bought some Vegan pizza from Ralphs. They were on close out so we got it for 50% off!
